Well, I had my first behind the wheel lesson yesterday.....in the rain. Anyways, the driving instructor said that I am a good driver; that I am relaxed and don't tense up. I just need to work on a few things. But I got a good start on my parking; I did good on keeping both hands on the wheel, steers smoothly, acceleration, braking and speed control. She said that my complete stops are perfect, but I need to know where to stop. Other than that I did really good with my driving.

Hey all! State Fair General Encampment starts today. The general encampment is basically for the people who didn't bring their livestock and aren't in Performing Arts; but they made like boards on certain topics, canned foods, clothing, etc. Well sometime tomorrow morning, after breakfast, I have my judging on my board. Then my sister and I will probably walk around a lot after lunch. And later that evening, my sister will have judging on her board.
I'm a little nervous because I haven't been to such a large fair and staying overnight without my parents. Well, I have to eat lunch and be on my way. ~Elizabeth Went to the State Fair yesterday with my family. We had a blast; but got really tired, hot and sweaty. We left the house at about 8:30 and got to the fair grounds at about 9:30. Spent most of the day walking around, looking at the exhibits and eating greasy junk food. But I look forward to it every year. And then, my sister and I will be going back tomorrow evening for the start of our encampment; I know it sounds a little strict when I use that word but I guess I could say it is basically a three day over night camp.
My sister and I also took a look at the girls dorms with our mom. There are LOTS of bunk beds, I'd say at least 50, all in rows in this very large room. I don't know where we are supposed to eat our meals yet (not including on the fair grounds). My friend, who has done this before, says that there is a cafeteria where we eat our meals. Oh and my dad renewed his, mine and my two sister's Pheasants Forever memberships, and we got cool new hats. Well, that's it. ~Elizabeth Hey guys! I hope that all of you are excited about the State fair. Well, next Wednesday I will be there all day. In the morning, I have my judging for my board, on which I got selected to go to State Fair when I entered it in my county fair. Then I will probably spend the rest of the day walking around and looking at the sites. In the evening my sister has her judging on her board, she got Grand Champion on that.
At my county fair, when I was being judged on my board, I think I did a pretty good job because I got a blue ribbon on it and then I got selected to go on the State Trip. The county fair was fun. My sisters and I got to hang out with friends for most of one day. On the last night of the fair, my dad took my sister and I to the Demolition Derby that they have there every year. Well, I hope you guys have fun at the fair. ~Elizabeth Okay, so it is day three of my blog and I am already having trouble finding things to write about. Well to start off, we had a friend stay with us for a few nights. It was fun, she was the one who helped me set up this blog. I love her for helping me. But this blog won't be all movie reviews. Probably some book reviews and some fun events happening in my somewhat exciting life. I have a few books in mind to review. Well, that's all folks. I would just like to say that Marvel Universe makes AWESOME movies. Last night, I was watching 'The Avengers' (for the 10th time) with my sisters and friend. I just absolutely love the movie. My favorite funny scene is when Hulk throws Loki around like a ragdoll. So here are the funniest scenes from the movie: I hope you laughed along with me.
~Elizabeth I would just like to say that when I created this blog, I was amazed that it was so simple. I also love how when I wrote the title of my blog and saved it, the website chose the header for me. I love how it shows someone walking down a narrow path and that is just how I imagined it to be. I want this blog to tell of my journey down the narrow and broken road with Jesus Christ and I have a feeling that it won't be as easy and it was creating this blog.
I realize that life isn't as simple as creating a blog. But with the right people and with Christ in your life it can get easier. I already have had some struggles in my life. Right now I am actually dealing with unexpected changes, like being the co-leader of my Bright Lights group. When I was offered the position, I was actually kind of surprised. So that was totally unexpected and I now realize that God had it all planned out for me. Now I can't wait for the other unexpected events that He has for me. I hope that you will realize that God has a bigger plan for everyone in this world. And if times get rough, just let Jesus take the wheel. Hey followers, I have come back with another fun post. At the beginning of this month, my sisters and I went to a Bright Lights party at our leaders house. We had a blast. They had a rope swing in their backyard and we had fun pushing each other on it. After we had our lunch, we took a mannequin picture. That was fun, but it was hard not to smile. Lol. We played a bunch of water games. We threw some water balloons off of their deck. Many of the balloons bounced when they hit the ground. After all of that fun, it was over. =( So we finished the watermelon that was leftover from lunch And, as you can tell, we were pretty tired after that. While we were waiting for our parents to pick us up, it started to rain. I mean it was a total downpour for a few minutes. Well that was one exciting event of my summer. There is more to come.
~Elizabeth For my first post I have decided to thank my good friend KR. Her blog is Sweet As A Rose. She is awesome. So go check out her blog and make the minion cupcake recipe that she posted. Then comment on how they turned out. Sorry this is short, couldn't find anything else to post about. lol.
